
This October, the Jackson Street Roundhouse brings the ghosts of railroading past back to life for a favorite trick or treating experience. Visit our scary old trains, take a haunted caboose ride, visit our resident hobo by the campfire for some smores, and start filling your trick or treat bag.
Ross Sutter will provide musical entertainment during the day
Board in Osceola, where our historic train takes you on a 25-minute ride to Dresser. Kids (15 and under) can pick out their very own pumpkin! While you’re there, enjoy music and check out the games, hayride, eats and treats, and a small flea market. You can step back in time and tour the historic 1884 Dresser Depot!

LEARN how to make your own traditional Irish drum! This instructional video is available one week in advance of the event’s premiere to allow time to make your instruments. Materials Needed: for the Bodhran: pizza box OR cardboard bank box cover for the Drumstick: roll of masking tape and unsharpened pencil or 8” wood dowel OR bamboo skewers and small rubber bands
Gather the entire family around the computer to join in the fun and create memories at this annual holiday performance hosted by the popular performer Rose Arrowsmith DeCoux as Tomte Kajsa. Multi-instrumentalist Ross Sutter and his friends, Marya Hart on piano and Cheryl Paschke on nycleharpa and fiddle, will play a rollicking collection of Swedish and American holiday tunes that evoke the feeling of standing around the family piano. After the performance, the artists will be available for a virtual Q&A.
