Walking on Air - Up the Raw

Walking on Air is one of the rare Celtic-influenced bands with four strong solo vocalists and an equal emphasis on harmony singing and instrumentals. The group came together in Minnesota in the late 1970s and performed extensively in the area until 1986. Jamie Gans played fiddle on the original lineup, succeeded by Laura MacKenzie on flute, whistle and vocals. The other members are Don Clark (guitar, bouzouki, mandolin, vocals), Michele Delattre (English concertina, whistle, vocals) and Ross Sutter (guitar, bodhran, vocals). The album "Up the Raw" was recorded for a cassette release in 1986 and first distributed digitally in 2019, mastered by Michael Romanowski in Berkeley, Calif.
